- End-to-end ownership of functional safety according to ISO 26262/IEC61508, covering the full safety lifecycle from Item Definition to production
- Creation and maintenance of Safety Plans, Functional Safety Concepts (FSC), Technical Safety Concepts (TSC), and safety work products (FMEA/FTA)
- Creation and review of safety requirements on system, hardware, and software levels including ASIL Level classification
- Execution and moderation of Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)
- Support and guidance of development teams on functional safety–related topics
- Support in coordination with OEMs, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Preparation and support of functional safety audits and assessments (internal and external)
- Support in continuous improvement of functional safety processes, methods, and tools

Dein Profil
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in functional safety
- Proven experience as a Functional Safety Architect for electronic components and embedded software, with ownership of safety architectures
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of ISO 26262
- Strong background in system engineering and safety engineering methodologies (e.g. V-model)
- Structured, analytical, and independent working style
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in senior-level technical discussions
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
